The “Daily Sketch” publishes today an unconfirmed report by a news agency that anti-Jewish riots took place in Odessa resulting in forty killed.

The riot, the report says, broke out during a religious procession, the enraged crowd attacking and looting Jewish shops, in the presence of the Red Army soldiers who were powerless. The riot was finally quelled by a salve of shots being fired by the soldiers, the report adds.
