Charles C. Simons Nominated As Federal Judge

The name of Charles C. Simons, Detroit Attorney, was sent to the Senate by President Harding Wednesday for confirmation as the extra Federal Judge assigned to Michigan. Mr. Simons was recommended by both Senator James Couzens and Chas. E. Townsend.

Mr. Simons has served as State Senator and Circuit Court Commissioner, was a member of the Michigan Constitutional Conventions in 1907 and 1908 and was a Republican Presidential elector in 1916.
