Assimilationist Named to Jewish Post

Premier Galvanowsky has decided to appoint the assimilationist, Friedman, to the post of Minister of Jewish Affaires in the place of Soloweitchik. Friedman, who was formerly a member of the Central election Commission was identified with its notorious election maneuvre. The local Jewish circles are greatly stirred over the matter.
