Rabbi Teitlebaum of Marmorozigeh, Transylvania, has issued a statement forbidding orthodox Jews to attend the local Jewish theatre threatening excommunication to those who persist in seeking this form of amusement. A delegation of Jews has undertaken to convince the rabbi that the theatre offers only an innocent amusement, and it is believed the rabbi will soon re(###)ind his order.
