March 2, 1923
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

Numbers of Jews in the smaller Bavarian towns are fleeing to the larger cities, out of fear of pogroms, according to the anti-Semitic “Miesbacher Anzeiger”.

This report is confirmed by recent arrivals from Bavaria who declare that all of Bavarian Jewry are terror-stricken and that Jews there are afraid of appearing on the streets during the evening on account of constant threats. A recent pogrom which was planned for January, was averted, it is reported, with the greatest difficulty
