Thousands of the Falashas, the “black Jews” of Abyssinia discovered by Dr. Faitelovitch are embracing Christianity, according to a report presented by Rev. Fald, a foreign missionary at the sessions of the London Missionary Society here.

Fald has just returned from Abyssinia. He declares that the loyal Falashas ill treat the Christian Jews, but that the latter are willing to be martyrs for their new faith.

Missionaries at the conference admitted that their attempts otherwise, exclusive of Abyssinia, towards the conversion of Jews have brought little results. “We need the prayers of all good Christians, if we are to succeed in this work” one of the missionaries said.
