A huge anti-Semitic rally was held by the Latvian National Club in the streets of Riga at which speakers urged that an economic boycott is started against the Jews. Preceding the meeting automobiles filled with agitators rode through the streets distributing appeals for the boycott.

Representatives of the Jewish community waited on the President and the Minister of Interior asking that steps be taken against the proposed boycott. They were unsuccessful, however.
