The Minister of Education has refused to accept the resignation of Dr. Samuel Steinhertz. against whose appointment recently to the rectorship of the German University of Prague, a strike was organized by the anti-Semitic students.
The press is commenting extensively on the fact that while Steinherz refused to budge while the movement against him was at its height, he has now of his own free will after the agitation has died out, tendered his resignation.
