Britain’s Presence in Palestine for Her Own Ends, Says Frenchman

England’s efforts in Palestine are part of a comprehensive scheme to constitute an eastern empire subject to it, joining India with the Mediterrannean through Mesopotamia and Palestine with Haifa as a port, according to the former French minister Hanotaux. France knows of this plan and yet does not criticize he, says the Frenchman, while England is attacking France for her entrance into the Ruhr region.
