The charge that Sephardic Jews in Palestine are not accorded equal treatment with Ashkenazim is contained in an article in the DOAR HAYOM, a Hebrew daily. The writer complains bitterly that Jewish public institutions are discriminating against Jews of Sephardic stock.

Among 356 officials and employees of the Zionist Executive, the Vaad Leumi, the Anglo-Palestine Bank and others, 13 Sephardim are to be found, he asserts.
