An urgent invitation to Dr. Chaim Weizmann to revisit the East Side and address a huge demonstration sometime in June was extended by a conference of representatives of a few hundred East Side Jewish organizations at the Educational Alliance Sunday.
The meeting was addressed by Dr. Schmarya Levin and Bernard A. Rosenblatt. Following the opening of the convention by Harris L. Selig, a director of the New York Campaign, Isaac Carmel reported the East Side has raised $75,000 for the Keren Hayesod.
