Henri Bergson the eminent Jewish Philosopher, and Henry Bernstein, noted playwright, it is understood are included in the list of names for nomination to what is known as the “July list” for the Legion of Honor. The list is submitted by the Minister of Fine Arts.
The “July list” is composed of those who attained distinction in the literary field.
