The following telegram was sent today to Mrs. Harding by Louis M. Epstein President of the Rabbinical Assembly and Elias L. Solomon, President of the United Synagogue.
“The rabbinical assembly of the Jewish theological seminary and the united synagogue of America deeply shocked by the irreparable loss to the nation in the sudden passing away of your beloved and distinguished husband, president warren G. Harding, express to you their deep sincere sympathy in your bereavement.
“All the synagogues affiliated with our organization will offer up special prayers tonight and tomorrow for the rebose of that noble soul that has gone to its reward”
