According to a report in the New York Times recently, Aaron J. Levy who recently reaigned as Chief Justice of the Municipal Court of New York City, will be among the Democratic candidates for the Supreme Court bench. There are ten candidates to be named. Among the Jewish justices, whose term will expire are Justice Nathan Bijur, Judge Proskauer, and Justice Joesph E. Newburger. The latter will be retired because of having reached the age limit.
