Arab Agitator Held for Murder Plot

The well-known anti-Zionist agitator, Abdullah Smara of Tul Kerem has been taken into custody on the charge that he had concocted a plot to assassinate a number of leading Englishmen in Palestine.

The arrest was made by the governor of Tul Kerem. Smara was invited by the governor to his home and there informed that the government had reasons to believe that he was involved in a murder plot. The papers connected with the plot were demanded of him, Smara in the meantime being detained.
