David Pinski’s Novel Confiscated in Poland

The President of the Polish Press Department has ordered the confiscation of a recent book of short stories by the Yiddish author David Pinski, resident in New York, on the ground that in one of the stories “Die Wand” (the wall) Pinski describes the events connected with the occupation of Pinsk by the Polish army during the war, when more than twenty Zionists were lined up against the wall and executed.
