A revival has set in among the Jewish press in Eastern Galicia. Of the suspended publications the Polish-language “Morian” and the Misrachi organ “Hamsiloh” reappeared. Some of the new periodicals are: “Hashachar”, a Polish-Hebrew children’s paper; the Yiddish “Dos Freie Wort”, organ of “Histadruth”, and a Hebrew monthly “Hasnunoth”.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
