Lack of funds may make it impossible for the Joint Distribution Committee to continue its work for 150,000 Jewish children in Russia and Central Europe, according to Dr. Bernard Kahn, Chairman of the European Council of the Committee. Dr. Kahn said the Committee was caring for 120,000 children in Russia and 30,000 in Central Europe. Most of them are under 14 years of age. Many have no home ser parents, and are weak and delicate from privation and illness. More than 35,000 are in institutions.
