J.A. Robb, Minister of Immigration announced today, following a conference with west provincial delegates and transportation officials, that Canada’s future immigration policy will mean a lowering of the bars to admit people of all nationalities able and willing to work. Only “certain undesirables” will not be allowed, Mr. Robb stated. The Minister also asked the transportation companies to reduce steamship and railway fares for immigrants.
