Jews to Excavate David’s City

The excavation of the City of David is to begin soon according to announcement of Captain Raymond Weil, who Heads a Jewish expedition to lay bare the site of the ancient city.

The plans for the excavation were laid by Captain Weil in 1913, but were interrupted because of the war. Baron Edmond drRothschild to whom modern Palestine is already heavily indebted, is financing Captain Weil’s exploration expedition.
