The offices of the Warsaw Kehillah were closed today in consequence of the disturbances yesterday when a body of incensed yeshivath students raided the building as a protest against the erection of the unorthodox student house in the vicinity of the synagogue in the Praga district.

Officers of the Kehillah today declared they would resign because of the disturbances which caused many milliard marks worth of damages.

The cornerstone laying ceremony for the student house scheduled for today was postponed because, it is alleged, orthodox Jews threatened there would be more blood-shed if the authorities would persist with the ceremony. Removal of the building material is also threatened.
