Dr. Rosenbaum, Minister for Jewish affairs in the Lithuanian Cabinet, was elected President of the National Council of Lithuanian Jews at the Jewish National Assembly which just concluded its sessions here.
A vote of confidence in Dr. Rosenbaum was adopted as also in the actions of the Jewish deputies in the Lithuanian Sejm. The National Council’s proposal for the participation of Lithuanian Jewry in the Jewish Agency for Palestine was approved.
