Urge Jewish Women’s Interest in Politics

Resolutions urging uniform marriage and divorce lasws, entrance of the United States in the World Court, more active interest by Jewish women in Politics, and personal health examinations under state supervision were adopted at the closing session today of the annual state convention of the Sennsylvania Council of Jewish Women at Johnstown, Pa.

Mrs. Charles Lonn of Wilkesbarre, who was recently elected Chairman of Education of the Pennsylvania Federation of Women’s Clubs, was elected president of the state organization to succeed Mrs. Eugene Springer of Philadelphia, who becomes honorary vice-president.
