The Sejm Commission of Education is apparently determined to carry through the pending legislation of a percentage norm in Polish schools. A proposal by the Jewish Sejm Club praying for the annulment of the circular by Minister of Education Glombinski regarding the introduction of the restrictive Legislation has been turned down by the Educational Commission.

A petition has been presented on behalf of the Jewish Parliamentary Club, showing that Synagogues in certain towns in the district of Posen, which had been depleted of their Jewish populations through emigration, were converted into moving picture palaces. The Jewish spokesmen demand that the government authorize the transfer of the property left by communities that had emigrated to the Jewish communities still in existence in the vicinity.
