A suitable memorial in the form of a school and a library will mark the site where Joseph Trumpeldor and six of his comrads were killed on March, 1920, defending the isolated spot in northern Galilee. Thus far there were not even tombstones over the graves of the leader and his followers.

Among those killed were two Jewish legionaires from America. The proposal to erect a building at Tel Hai is being backed the Jewish labor organization.
