Mr. Rosenthal, next to Edmond de Rothschild, is the foremost Jewish philanthropist in France. In the course of the last few years he has contributed heavily to the support of charitable institutions of all sorts and has made large donations for the care of orphans from the Ukraine.
The present work is the latest of the literary products of Mr. Rosenthal who is the author of a number of books.
