Prof. Josef Baver, for seventeen years with the Anthropological and Ethnological Section of the Museum of Natural History in Vienna, and, since 1919, the head of that department, has been removed from his post, due to anti-Semitic pressure.
His department has been divided into three divisions, of only one of which he has been made the head. The Vienna press is devoting much space to this action. It is reported that Prof. Bayer will appeal to the courts.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
