Prof. Sir W. M. Flinders Petrie, the famous Egyptologist, in an interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, stated that so far as he is able to judge for the present, he does not think that the tablets which he discovered in the Sinai Peninsula and on which Prof. Hubert Grimme bases his claim for the references to the Law Giver, have any connection with the Exodus period.
Prof. Flinders Petrie has treated of his discovery of the tablets in his book, “Researches in Sinai.”
