The work of clearing the monuments of the Tomb of Absalom and the Eastern platform is completed. The Jehoshephat monument with the portal, the door and carving can now be seen from all high places of Jerusalem, expecially from the Eastern Wall. The Jewish Archaelogical Society has set up an iron barrier and the place is now open to the public.
