Former Russian Army Officer Becomes a Jew

A most unusual event took place today when Prince Zoslowski, raised at the Czar’s court and a former officer in the Czar’s army, was circumeized and received into the Jewish faith. The operation, which was performed successfully, took place in the presence of the Radsener Rabbi and he was given the new name, Iser. Zoslowsky’s mother was a baptized Jewsss. During the war he crossed into Austria and became a Major in the Austrian Army. A year ago he went to Warsaw and there he fell in love with a Jewish girl. It was then that he decided to become a Jew.
