The coming Kehillah election has created a great stir and many candidates in the Jewish community, where the various issues are being fought vigorously. The Aguda group intends to have its own candidates, but it may experience a little setback on account of the probable secession of several Chassidic groups. The Assimilators are also planning a
special ticket, and the Jewish National Council is preparing a democratic block to fight both the Aguda and Assimilator candidates. The Workman’s and Bund parties are also putting up their own candidates.
