Lithuanian Government Prohibits Minority Language Signboards

All signboards in the languages of the national minorities in Lithuania, will, within the next three months, have to be removed and replaced by signs in the Lithuanian language, according to an official decree of the Lithuanian Government, which will be published tomorrow.

This will include the prohibition of signboards in Yiddish.
