One thousand applicants for Lithuanian citizenship, who were previously rejected, will again have the opportunity of acquiring the same, according to the latest decision of the government.

This decision will affect a considerable number of Jews who were born in Lithuania, but who lived for a considerable length of time in Russia, and owing to the upheavals have returned to the country of their birth.
