Writing of the plan for the founding of a Jewish republic in the Crimea, the Polish newspaper “Rzecz Pospolita” quotes the anti-Semitic, monarchist newspaper “Novoye Vremyi##” which vehemently protests against the plan calling it “the greatest piece of treachery of the Jews who rule Russia.”
The Polish paper in commenting on the plan declares that the Jews are picking out the best territory in all Russia. The Jews, the paper states, have previously rejected a plan for the colonization of White Russia because the land there is not as rich as in the Crimea.
