Fifty thousand pounds has been subscribed to the Rutenberg project for the electrification of Palestine by a small number of Vienna businessmen, it is announced. The subscribers to the Rutenberg Company stock include M. Kestranek, a Zionist sympathizer of long standing. M. Kestranek is participating in the establishment of a permanent office in Vienna to keep in close touch with the Rutenberg Company in Palestine.
