Plilby Will Return to India: Richmond Predicted As Successor

Major Philby British representative in Transjordania, will return shortly to India, where he served prior to his appointment to the Transjordanian post, according to Lisan, Arab newspaper. Lisan predicts that Mr. Richmond, political advisor to the Palestine Government, will succeed Major Bhilby. In Richmond is a notorious anti-Zionist.

Rabbi Sonenfeld, a prominent leader of the Orthodox Jews in Palestine, forwarded a letter through Israel De Haan, Jerusalem correspondent of the London Express, to King Hussein asking the Hejas ruler to use his influence in favor of the Yemen Jews who have been much persecuted by the Arabs, it is learned. Hussein, it is said, promised De Haan that he would do everything possible for the Yemenites.
