Jewish Delegation Refuses Abdullah for King

It is learned here that ministers of Emir Abdullah have raised the question of the ascendency of Abdullah to the throne of Palestine, a proposal which was immediately rejected by the Jewish delegates.

Sir Herbert Samuel and his party, including David Yellin and ColFred Kisch, returned last night from Amman where they were band quoted by King Hussein of Hedjas. The party describes the banquet as a splendid one and members stated that there was scarcely any

political conversation.

It is rumored here that Governor Symes of Haifa will succeed Major St. J. Philby as British representative in Transjordania.
