The President of the Lithuanian Republic today accepted the resignation of Dr. Samuel Rosenbaum as Minister for Jewish Affairs. Dr. Rosenbaum submitted his resignation several weeks ago when the Lithuanian Government failed to appropriate sufficient funds to carry out the work of the Ministry, but continued to perform the duties of his office at the request of the Government.
