The question of indemnities for the Jewish population in Russia and the Ukraine who were the pogrom victims of the armies of Generals Denikin, Wrangel, Yudenitch and Petlura, will be raised by the Soviet Delegation
at the Anglo-Russian Conference which opened today in London.
It is authoritatively stated that a special commission appointed for the purpose by the Soviet Government has made a careful study of the situation and has come to the conclusion that the damages caused by these pogroms amount to millions of dollars. It is also stated that the Soviet delegation has been empowered by the central government to include this claim in the general claim for damages caused by the Allied interventions in Russia.
The claim against the Allied governments for the pogroms and the damage caused by them is based on the moral and financial support given the pogromist armies by the Allied governments.
