Trustees, Sexton and Synagogue Punished for “contraband.”

The Board of Trustees the sexton and the synagogue were on trial today in the city of Polozk for “contraband” found in the home of the sexton. The sentence to one year in prison; eight were fined; and the synagogue was also punished. The Court decided to turn it into a workingmen’s club.
