An agricultural Association has been established in Nazareth. The program of the Association is to develop Agriculture and to improve the condition of the Agriculturists and farmers; to organize co-operative Associations for the sale and purchase of products, machinery, etc; to request the Government first, to abolish the tithe or to reduce it and secondly to levy taxes equally on all inhabitants. The association plans to co-operate with the Government in a definite policy and to live and work in peace with all the inhabitants of Palestine. The Association also has decided to ask the Government to establish a representative council elected by the nation.
