Dr. Joseph S. Cornfeld, the American ex-Ambassador in Persia, dined at the Government House yesterday.
Dr. Cornfeld visited the buildings of the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus, where he was received by Dr. Magnes, member of the Palestine Curatorium of the University and the Secretary, Mr. Ibn Zaav, Dr. Cornfeld declared that he was very gratified to be able to report on his return to American, that the spiritual, no less than the material, development of Palestine is being cared for.
Dr. Wecsler, the Secretary of the American Physicians Board who are interested in appointing the Medical Faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, arrived here, in connection with the Micro-Biological Institute of the University which is to be inaugurated shortly.
