The abdication of King Hussein caused great consternation both in Bagdad and Amman. Particular anxiety is expressed at the court of Emir Abdullah, who fears that the Wahabis will now turn against TransJordania. It is understood here, however, that English Military and Air forces will resist any attack of the Wahabis on TransJordania.
