Volume I of the Hebrew Union College Annual, a scholarly journal of Jewish lore and philosophy, has just made its appearance. The volume is continuous of the quarterly magazine called “The Journal of Jewish Lore and Philosophy” and will now be issued annually under the auspices of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew Union College. Its board of editors is composed of Rabbi David Philipson, chairman, Dr. Kaufman Kohler, president emeritus of the Hebrew Union College, Professor Jacob Z. Lauterbach, Dr. Julian Morgenstern, president of the Hebrew Union College, Professor David Neumark, professor of philosophy of the Hebrew Union College and formerly editor of the quarterly, “Journal of Jewish Lore and Philosophy”, and Rabbi William Rosenau of Baltimore.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
