Dr. M. Baranoff, well-known Jewish publicist, died of heart failure at the age of 60.
Dr. Baranoff was a writer of note, prominent in the Yiddish labor press. He was associated with the “Forward” for the last twenty years.
Dr. Baranoff was born in December, 1864, in Zhitomir, Russia. He was educated at the University of Charkow and in Switzerland, where he joined the ranks of the Russian revolutionary movement.
The funeral will take place at noon today from the Forward building.
