At the first meeting of the convention of Polish Zionists here, the executive committee of the Polish federation, headed by Deputy Isaac Greenbaum, submitted its resignation.

A heated fight, which will determine the attitude of the Polish Zionist Federation towards the policy of the Zionist world executive commenced when Deputy Greenbaum, in behalf of his group which is in opposition to the policy of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, introduced a resolution demanding that the authority of the Zionist Congress should remain unlimited until a Jewish World Congress convenes.

The oppositional group, which is under the leadership of Dr. Joshua Gottlieb, introduced a counter resolution in which is expressed a wish for full confidence in Dr. Weizmann and for more constructive work in Palestine. It is predicted here that the Greenbaum faction will be completely defeated, as sentiment among Polish Zionists is strongly in favor of the policy of Dr. Weizmann.
