The various aspects of the Hebrew Educational system in Palestine were discussed at Wednesday’s session of the Jewish National Assembly here.

Dr. Benzion Mossenson, director of the Tel Aviv Hebrew High School, read a report on Palestine’s educational problems. He expressed the opinion that the Hebrew educational system must remain under the control of the Zionist Executive, disagreeing with those who advocate that the system be turned over to the control of the Palestine population.

In the discussion which developed on the subject Madame Cohan-Bernstein demanded that special attention be given to aesthetic education. Representatives of the Mizrachi urged religious education.

A speaker for the small Communist group who attacked the Hebrew educational system, declaring that the schools “spread racial hatred” was hissed by the deputies and was compelled to leave the platform.
