Bedouins Ask National Assembly in Transjordania

A congress of Bedouin tribal chiefs in Southern Transjordania will be held at Amman, the capital of Transjordania, despatches received here state.

It was understood that the Congress will formulate the demand that Emir Abdullah, ruler of Transjordania, call a national assembly. The chiefs also demand that the Emir reject all agreements which he entered into with other governments since 1921.
