A new census of the occupations of the national minorities in the Ukraine was decided upon by the Ukrainian Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party.
The census will aim at establishing the number of workers belonging to the national minorities, including the Jews. It will also gather data concerning their participation in the large industries, the smaller industries and in the crafts.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
