The seventieth birthday of Achad Ha’am was celebrated here at a public meeting arranged by the World Zionist Organization. Many of the Zionist leaders present at the sessions of the Actions Committee addressed the gathering, including several Americans. The Actions Committee decided at one of its sessions, to despatch a message of congratulations to Achad Ha’am. in which he was given the traditional Jewish title of “Moreinu” (our teacher).
